Girl's Fall Fast Pitch League U12-U18
BLBS Travel Baseball extends to fall Fast Pitch Leagues for Central Ohio’s top travel players. Teams will compete in Sunday double headers at Ohio State’s Fred Beekman Sports Complex. Coaches may enroll their full team (rosters must be OHSAA compliant), or make use of our “free agent” system to round out their roster. Players may register as free agents, or as part of a team.
Games are played at Ohio State University's Fred Beekman Sports Complex and/or McCord Park Sports Complex in Worthington. Season runs 6 weeks beginning early September.

Travel Caliber Competition All teams and free agent players are expected to have competed or have aspirations of competing in travel caliber fast pitch programs. Free agents will be evaluated and placed on rosters according to OHSAA roster guideline.
Uniforms
BLBS provides jerseys for Fast Pitch Leagues. Color is determined by the coach and will appear when registering.
Skill Clinics Big League Baseball School will conduct hitting and pitching skill clinics that every player needs to be successful. BLBS clinics are FREE to league participants, reservations are required. Check the web site for times and dates at blbstravelbaseball.com.
Fast Pitch League Guidelines
Field Dimensions for all age groups: 60 ft base path, 40 youth /43 HS ft mound/home
Fast Pitch League Guidelines We observe the Ohio High School roster limitation of no more than 4 players from the same high school on any one team. All leagues follow Ohio High School Association Rule Book with the following exceptions:
- Home/Away: Determined by a coin flip prior to game.
- All umpires are ASA certified professionals, umpire will set game clock
- All roster players will hit in the batting order
- All 6-inning games
- No inning starts after 1 hour, 10 min., games may result in a tie.
- Coach must agree on final score-keep personal record.
- Tiebreaker: Used to determine division and tournament winners only.
Based on season head to head play, then fewest runs allowed.
Non- Roster Players
- Unlimited substitution - coach can move players in and out of lineup
- Substitute Players MUST register on-line prior to game.
- Players may sub for one weekend only. If they play more than one weekend, they will be considered a player and charged the player fee.
Field Rules & Maintenance
All games will be played at Ohio State University’s Fred Beekman Sports Complex and McCord Park in Worthington. Both complexes are beautifully maintained; The Beekman Complex has eight state of the art lighted fast pitch fields. The field surface features Diamond Pro infields and Scotts Turf grass outfields, all managed 24-7 by the OSU maintenance division. The City of Worthington has a reputation for quality field maintenance and McCord Park is no exception, featuring four fast pitch fields with excellent infield surfaces.
- BLBS Travel Baseball will have the fields dragged, lined, and ready for play. BLBS will set bases and provided game balls.
- No soft toss against any fences will be permitted. Portable soft toss nets MUST be 20 yards away from the dugout.
- It is the team’s responsibility to thoroughly clean up the dugout before leaving.
- Parent’s/players should pick up after themselves.
- There is NO alcohol permitted at any facility.
- Vehicles are permitted in designated parking areas only, and MUST NOT enter the complex.
Please report any abuse of fields to BLBS as we do not want to loose the use of these facilities.
Registration
Registration for Teams, Free Agents, and Players begins June 1st.
Team Registration

$100 deposit is due at time of registration.
The $100 deposit will be refunded once a full roster of 10 players or more are registered/paid.
- Free Agent Need
Please indicate your need for free agents on your registration, and follow up with Big League Baseball School early to ensure availability.
- Roster and Uniform Orders Needed by August 15
Coach must submit full roster with uniform sizes (if applicable) to Big League Baseball School.
- Coach Meeting
A coach, or team representative needs to attend the coach meeting.
- Schedules will be given out.
- Rules will be gone over
- All outstanding balances for uniforms are due
- Full roster must be submitted
Free Agent Registration

A $100 deposit is required when registering. This will apply to your player registration later. Division determined by the player's age on first day of the League season.
